Hello All,

I've been using SpyGlass since 2012 but only recently bought it again, I wanted to scan two backlink profiles.

Problem 1) "Started 01:59:13 ago; time remaining 99:13:24 (1,340 tasks)"
What the hell is taking so long? I tried using some free Proxies but it took even longer.
I tried finding a paid proxy but there are no suggestions on a good one.
I'm now using my IP, I assume and I had to buy 5k of Powertools anti-CAPTCHA just to do a single search.
Moving onto CAPTCHA..

Problem 2) I'm scanning two websites and have already hit around 200 CAPTCHA's.
This version of SpyGlass has no option for me to slow down what it's doing so I can't change anything (as far as i'm aware).

Am I doing something wrong here? I'm only after the defaults results + PR.
Can somebody suggest a way to make this faster, I found loads of guides for the previous version, but none for this version, I don't mind paying for a proxy or something but I don't know how a Proxy would help.

It looks like you're using a beta version of SEO SpyGlass. That's the new version of the tool we released some time ago - we're not presently updating or supporting it I'm afraid. Please download the regular, non-beta version of SEO SpyGlass for all features and timely updates and improvements:

https://www.link-assistant.com/seo-spyglass/download.html

You can use your current license key for the regular version.

A lot would depend on which backlink factors you're updating, and which sources you're looking for links in.

Should the problem persist with the new version, please send your SEO SpyGlass project to us through Help -.> Send Project To Support from the software, indicating which backlink factors you're updating in the Comments. We'll take a look at your project and log, and get back to you with a reply.

Thanks for the reply, I will go to the other version which sounds a lot more stable.
FYI, when you buy this product, the download link took me to the Beta.

Perhaps new customers should be taken to the version that works? Cheers.

It is better avoid using free proxies, because most of them have already been detected and blocked by search engines, so using them you will just make the process longer.

It is better to use paid private proxies. Our software supports any type of HTTP proxies, so you can use any service you find most convenient for you.
