I am getting a large number of these messages in my report. it almost seems like this software is picking up each page twice, one with the /?p=xxx and once with the proper permalink /my-page-name.
Is this something setup wrong in Wordpress? or is there a setting in Website Auditor that turns this off?
Does google see it this way too? The site I am working on recently got a spam penalty from google and I am wondering if it is because something isnt set up right in the config or htaccess or somewhere and Google sees it as duplicate content.
Any help or direction to look for would be great.
the site is http://bit.ly/2dNWowz
Thanks in advance
Jeff

Most probably there are pages on your website that have links to other pages with those /?p=xxx parameters, as a result such pages are added to the software as well.

Please, find in your project list a page with this parameter /?p=xxx and then check the 'Links to page' section to see what pages have links to it. Then you need to go to those pages and fix the links and make it without this parameter. After that rebuild your project.
