Hello,

It seems that the link assistant application is refusing to change ports or SSL/TLS settings when it tries to connect to my internal email server.

SSL/TLS is not set, but you can see where the connection is outbount to port 995, which should actually be port 110 per the configuration.

The application settings were changed, saved and the application was fully restarted before the test.

Screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/zDf03.jpg (note the application port is port 110 and the traffic is actually port 996.) Again, SSL/TLS is not set, and I have no idea why i sanitized it out of the jpg. :D

I tried to submit a trouble ticket, but kept getting directory write errors from your site.

Regards,
Matt Deren

I'm afraid to help you solve this issue, we need to analyze all the settings you've used to configure your email account in the software.

To be able to do that, we need to get your project file, so could you please enter all the email account details -> save them -> and then send it to us via 'Help' menu and choose 'Send Project To Support' option (also, please make a reference to this forum thread in the comments).

** Don't worry - we keep all our customers' data confidential and there is no need to worry about us disclosing any information.

Please stay in touch. :)
