Posted: Mon Feb 25, 2013 2:03 pm Hi. Have you guys considered using SEOMOZ's metrics in your toolsets? Google PR isnt the best way to value a link and it would be great to compare PR to DA They have an API that you could use. Perhaps its something to consider?? http://www.seomoz.org/api |

First let us clarify that SEOmoz has its own index of the web (Linkscape) based on which it calculates a set of SEO metrics, such as mozRank, mozTrust, Domain mozRank, Domain mozTrust, Page Authority and Domain Authority. SEOmoz refreshes its link database about once per month, when these metrics are also re-calculated and updated. Second, SEOmoz metrics are available only to the paying users, and these metrics are not that wide-spread and acknowledged in the whole SEO community at the moment. Third, we are carefully tracking the latest SEO trends, and if we see that these metrics will be widely used by SEOs, we will consider using them in the SEO PowerSuite tools as well.
