Hi there,

I've just taken over an SEO position at a new company and been introduced to Rank Tracker.
I have tried, unsuccessfully, to limit the amount of keywords printed out on the Historical Data & Keyword pages.

I'll explain what I am trying to do:

I have a total of 900 keyphrases in a file and I am using a Workspace filter to show anything with a rank between 1 - 30. I would like to show these on the report and basically ignore anything that doesnt show in my Rank Tracker workspace.

I tried editing the line:
Code:
<[DEFINE name="maxResults" value="reportData.maxResults"/]>
but to no avil.

Is there a way to do this, or will it just print all 900 keywords out ?[/code]

Hi, Goosh,

If I got you right, to do what you need to add an IF-clause (two lines of code) into your template (I highlighted them in bold):

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
<[FOR_EACH name="reportData.sort(keywords, 'query')" id="keyword"]>
<a name="<[ECHO text="reportData.getPageName(PAGE_HISTORICAL) + '_' + keyword.query"/]>">
<[FOR_EACH name="reportData.sort(searchEngines, 'name')" id="searchEngine"]>
<[DEFINE name="history" value="keyword.getHistory(searchEngine)"/]>
<[IF condition="history.keywordPosition != null && history.keywordPosition.position < 30"]><[THEN]><a name="<[ECHO text="reportData.getPageName(PAGE_HISTORICAL) + '_' + keyword.query + '_' + searchEngine.type"/]>">
<table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="725">
<tr valign="top">

...

</table>
</a>
<[/THEN]><[/IF]><[/FOR_EACH]>
</a>
<[/FOR_EACH]>
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hope this helps...

Thats perfect. I wasn't sure if the software allowed Conditional custom statements and didn't want to break it :D

This opens alot of options for me, thank you for the reply.
