HI, I have tried so many combinations of this. and just cannot seem to setup an email account inside Link Assistant (for both POP and SMTP (or IMAP)

Heres the setup infomation I have tried using in Link Assistant:
(Not after a while it basically says I cannot connect....but those email settings are correct as its the same ones I use in Office Outlook and my iPhone and Ipad. so why dont they work in Link Assistant?

Server Type: IMAP
Incoming Server: imap.1and1.co.uk
IMAP port with SSL enabled: 993

Outgoing Server (SMTP): auth.smtp.1and1.co.uk
SMTP port: 25 or 587
Outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication (user name and password)
Important: Secure SMTP encryption using TLS (using either port)

Account name/User name: Your full 1&1 e-mail address
Password: Your e-mail account's password

Server Type: POP3
Incoming Server: pop.1and1.co.uk
POP3 port with SSL enabled: 995

Outgoing Server (SMTP): auth.smtp.1and1.co.uk
SMTP port: 25 or 587
Outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication (user name and password)
Important: Secure SMTP encryption using TLS (using either port)

Account name/User name: Your full 1&1 e-mail address
Password: Your e-mail account's password

Hello Chris.

The email settings you are configuring in LinkAssistant depend on the mail service provider you are using(such as Gmail or MSN for example). So please open your LinkAssistant project , then click Help-> Send Project To Support also indicating your email and the email settings you are using in LinkAssistant.
Our Support specialists will configure the correct email settings and will write back to you with the solution.

The mail request i am able to send out when i am requesting an exchange link - is it possible to change that text.? Because i am danish and of that reason only requesting danish sites, so it would seem wierd if the text is on english!

Yes, you can modify the e-mail templates. Just open your project and go to Preferences - Email Management - Edit e-mail templates - select the necessary template and click Edit. There you can customize the template to your liking.
