Does anyone else recall a news article that support emailed a while back discussing a new feature that would prevent the need for always having to buy anti-captcha? The article showed where a specific setting in the software can be set to get a desired report without being blocked by Google. Hope someone has an answer.

Most probably you refer to the Search Engine Datacenters rotation feature which we issued several years ago. Unfortunately, this proved to me not as efficient as we had expected, that is why this option has been removed from the software.
