is there a way to add tags to multiple keywords after the initial set up.

I want to re categorise a large number of keywords to aid a client report clarity and some general house keeping.

The tagging wasn't well thought out when the campaign was created, and keywords have been added with no tags.

If I could re-import the keyword with a new tag but retain the historic data then that would help.

Yes, it is possible to add multiple tags to the project or you can also re-import the same keywords again with new tags.

To add multiple tags to a set of keywords you just need to open the Target Keywords section - Keyword Map - this will open the list of keywords that are already present in your project. So you simply can select the keywords that you want to tag - right click to open the quick menu and choose Add Tags to Selected Records:

then you can type in tags one by one:

Another way is to re-import the keywords. In this case you need to prepare a simple CSV file with 2 columns: keywords and tags:

then you save this as a CSV file, then open your current Rank Tracker project and go to File - Import - follow the wizard steps and at Step 2 you need to map the columns as Keywords and Tags:

then complete the set up and these keywords will be re-entered to the same project but with new tags.

Thanks for the response.

option 1 isn't practical as I have a large number of keywords I need to tag, with no way to group them. So I would need to do them individually

Option 2, hopefully it doesn't overwrite the ranking history

Thanks, looks like it imports without overwriting data. Nice1
