The free Yahoo API that our software has been using by default has now been disabled by its' developers. Likewise, we have disabled it for our users.

However, those of you who have been using their own API key need to turn it off in the Preferences -> Search engines API keys menu section of our tools in order to be getting results again.

We are closely watching the developments and are going to make sure you keep getting relevant results no matter what data sources change in their operation.

Thanks! :)

Can you add an option to import bulk backlinks?

For instance, Yahoo! still shows backlinks for some of sites so we can check those if we had a option for bulk upload... no more then 1000 results...

You can import backlinks in a CSV file. To do that just click File -> Import -> CSV file and specify the path to your file. Or, if you have just the list of links in a column, you can select the plain text import.

Hi,

I am thinking about buying the software for my company but I am not sure about few things - where the data comes from and what has changed in the system after Yahoo backlinks stop working?

I would be very thankful for every helpful answer I could get, it's quite important right now for me.

Kind regards,
solanka

We've launched our own backlink spiders and database recently: http://www.link-assistant.com/news/back ... abase.html . So the majority of links comes from there, in addition there are other search engines and we get data from them as well.
