I will start by saying have been using SEO Powersuite for about 2 months now, and love it. Most of everything I need in one place to optimize my customers sites, and they are estatic with the results I am producing.

What I would like to be able to do is turn off a competitor when optimizting a site. It seems that in most cases there is one site that throws the average way off, and it would be nice to not include it in the ranking factors.

Is this possible?

Thanks for the idea. No, this is not possible but in one of the nearest updates we will add the ability to exclude a competitor substituting it for the #11 in the list of top 10 competitors.
