I'm having issues checking rankings in Google.co.uk (the web) and equivalent in Yahoo.

I was playing around with proxies yesterday, but gave up as I tried a few and none of the UK proxies would allow me to scan Google. To try and get around this, I clicked the green + that displays in Preferences>Preferred Search Engines, when the SE is hovered over on the tree nav.

I changed the location of the search to UK in case the foreign proxies were scanning their localised version of Google, only Bing and Yahoo. I then then reverted back to how it was. I can see that the default location is US even when selecting show all pages from Google.co.uk. I don't mind that, but now it won't even let me scan Yahoo. I need to get scanning Google and Yahoo again pretty fast.

I've even deleted all of the files that were being used and set them all up again - I still have copies of the originals - but this hasn't helped either.

I've also unchecked Proxy Settings>Use Proxy so that shouldn't be a problem now? These fields are blank as well as unchecked.

Any ideas/ solutions would be appreciated. Thanks.
