Scenario: You have 2 backlinks posted on a page pointing to your site. The first backlink is an image pointing to your root domain, the second backlink has proper anchor text pointing to the actual URL you've exchanged links with, instead of the site domain.
You have linkassistant verify your backlinks. Linkassistant will pick up the first image backlink pointing to your site, however wlll not go any further to check if there's another link that contains the exact anchor text and URL that should be displayed.
The result is that you're unable to verify if a partner is in fact linking with the correct url/anchor text without manually checking the listing.
I'm wondering if there's any way around this or if there's a planned update to have linkassistant scan the entire page to see if there's a correct anchor/url, and if not then instead display another way pointing to your site, if it exists?
Thanks.

Thanks for bringing this up.
In fact there is an opinion that if there are two links from site A to site B then only the first link is considered by Google while ranking sites. That is why LinkAssistant is grabbing only the first link it finds in the source code of the page, as all following link do not add up to the rankings and only disperse the link value of all outgoing links.
