Hi,

I hope this thread wasn't opened yet.

As far as I know Google sees sub domains as a part of the same domain name now, not as a different website like in the past.

My question is: how should I track the rank with rank tracker for a new sub-domain, should I build a new project, or is there a way to include the results in the main "domain.com" project results?

e.g.: kw2 is ranked #4 in Google for sub-domain.domain.com - can I see this in domain.com project? Even if domain.com is already ranked in Google , I know that we can see with rank tracker multiple pages that are ranking for the same keyword.

Thanks in advance.

Please go to Preferences -> Project Preferences, there is an option to enable subdomain rank tracking.

To track sub domain, first u need to be indexed in google.
When google index your site, check on alexa that when you search for main domain sub domain is also listed.

I'm using the paid Mac version 6.0.5 of Rank Tracker, and I don't see those preferences. Can you clarify where we can enable/disable subdomain rank tracking?
