Do you not use the Notes column for this? It's a faff but what I do is:
*copy and paste my basic project data into excel
*then add a specific notes column that contains the extra needed stuff
Re-import the project in .csv
Do my metric scans etc
and then add the notes field as a tag in the template
It aint perfect ~
There's a limit on characters in the Notes field I think and this debilitates the idea of subtracting unneccessary info - but if you plan the generic email well in advance and put some forethought in it can yield ok results!
