When you select a link partner to send email to, and you select an email template, it would be great if we could customize the email body after the email template is selected.

In other words, the email template is selected for it's primary content. However, you might want to put in some comments that are specific for that particular link partner that are not in the email template content.

We might add the ability to do that in the future, but for now you will need to put the e-mails into outbox first, and then you can introduce changes to their text.

If you could edit emails in the outbox - that would be ace
NOt usre if that's feasible though - so many times I have run a project over hrs only to find out that it shoved most in the outbox. When I checked them I noticed an error - and was forced to cancel the emails. This made it hard for me to figure out who had actually been sent, and received an email when it came around to repreating the efforts...

There didn't seem to be an order by which emails were sent wither - it seemed arbiturary.

Also - I have a problem when filtering sites out of the project workspace. When I hihghlight the rows and click 'send email' it sends email to the entire list - filtered or not...

I thought you could shift select the one's that you wanted?

Do you not use the Notes column for this? It's a faff but what I do is:
*copy and paste my basic project data into excel
*then add a specific notes column that contains the extra needed stuff

Re-import the project in .csv
Do my metric scans etc
and then add the notes field as a tag in the template

It aint perfect ~

There's a limit on characters in the Notes field I think and this debilitates the idea of subtracting unneccessary info - but if you plan the generic email well in advance and put some forethought in it can yield ok results!

if you mean editing it by adding images or colors I think this way the email won't be delivered into inbox, as it will be considered as spam.
