I've had a license for LA for a long time

Just recently when starting LA, the auto-update box came up and said that an update was available but that it could not be applied automatically, that it had to be applied manually.

Where do I get the update?

I've got a few points in this post.
I still have to install updates manually? Everytime I do I have to reinput my registration details. Also being an employee I only have certain rights on the PC I work at, its getting annoying to have to grab my IT manager to put a password in so I can run an installation.
If I forget to input my reg details and I run a report, when the report is complete I'm told "I haven't registed the software, please buy it or choose to recieve just 50 resutls.", at which point I am stuck and have to rerun the report after inputting my registration details- which is a pain. When faced with this dilema it would be good to have the option of inputting reg details to have not wasted a few hours doing a report.
I've just installed 3.2.2, and when I faced the problem I described above, this time I clicked help- because I wanted saving It then proceeded to open as many IE windows as it could taking me to your help page. My computer got to 52 before crashing.

Seems like the problem is exactly in the lack of rights on the computer. A couple of questions:

1) Do you have full access rights for reading, writing and executing for the "C:\Program Files\" folder on your computer?

2) What access rights (writing/reading/execution) have you got for your home folder ("C:\Users\YOUR_WINDOWS_USERNAME")?

Please also tell us what OS you have and what SP you have installed, if any.

If you have no rights to write to your home folder then the program won't run properly, as it requires to create an information file storing your settings.
