Installed linkdirectory in wrong folder how to uninstall?
And where to set the prefered folder in link assistant preferences?

You can set the folder in Preferences -> Link directory settings -> FTP\Local Storage -> Remote dir setup.

As for deleting the files - you will need to connect to your server via any FTP client (or even LinkAssistant) and manually delete all the previously generated files.

I have deleted the files and changed the ftp folder directory to install the directory.

All files are now uploaded with ftp to the folder "directory" in the root of my Wordpress site http://www.internet-business-revolution.com but the directory is not showing.

How make the directory visible now?

It looks like your link directory gets uploaded here, as you have described:

If you wish to link your menu point "linkpartners" menu section to the directory page then you should link it the way you link other pags (I'm not really sure about that), or set up a 301 redirect in your .htaccess file so that this page

Yes I had managed to delete the old directory files and uploaded into folder "Directory" and the menu is now also linked to the directory, so I'm ok with this one.

I do have a question about other directory that gives an error after submitting link request. I had posted this question here:

As for the ftp location it seems I cannot change this location.
When I press Remote dir setup I choose my folder named "directory"
and then this path is displayed:
/domains/styling-designs.com/public_html/directory/linkpartners.html

When I press view my directory it will take me to this url:
http://www.styling-designs.com/domains/ ... tners.html

Also when I try to add a link to the directory it will also take me to that same url with 404 error:
