Hello,

I have been using LA for a few months now and everything has gone fine.. until yesterday when I tried sending out a batch of emails it said that my email client settings are not configured correctly.

I didn't change anything and the error message just happened.

I think that my internet company (qwest) has blocked port 25.. but I am not really sure what happened or if that even makes sense. I looked into Qwest and it says that it filters port 25 for dynamic ip users, and you can turn it off if you pay for a static ip, but that has a 50 dollar set up fee and a monthly cost.. I am curious to know if other people have had this problem where it was working fine and then randomly (or not so randomly) their host switched the port off?

The odd thing is that I changed one of my projects from port 25 to port 26 and the connection started to work and I was able to send emails multiple times.

But for this one project, I have been unable to find the right port to send mail out of.

So, as of right now, I am going through gmail, but I am not entirely confident in that because I don't want to tip off google of what I am doing..

Any ideas suggestions on this matter?

Thanks,
Zack

Might be port 27 or 28 or 587 (others too, including ssl ports)

Ask your host what their alternative ports are
