Ok... To tell the truth, I'd like to be the number one (just as you would - otherwise you'd never come here ). So I'd like to know your thoughts about my congeners - about their strength and weaknesses, about the features they lack and the ones which are just indispensable for you.

Why? To be the best, to be the number one, to help you being the number one. Just tell me what you want and what you need - and I'll help you in promoting your website... Sounds fair to me, isn't it?

I know this is a bit late since you posted your message but better late then never. So here is some data on a few of the software and programs I've used/tested.

WebCEO:

• Generally: Overall it's a great piece of software for someone who has a low or medium knowledge about SEO.
• Strengths: It gives you data on both onpage and offpage optimization information in one tool with minimal clicks.
• Weaknesses: Many 2 things, one it's not very accuarate with it's onpage optimization and suggestions. And number two it's rather slow at generating these types of reports.

SEO Studio:

• Generally: Overall it's a great piece of software that easily allows you to see your optimization data verse your competitors.
• Strengths: The top 10 Spy report is quick and gives you all the details for the data you need in easy to see tables. I really like the data and the way it's laid out in the report.
• Weaknesses: Includes things like Google maps as a competing site from the search results and has other major issues with not getting acuarate details about the competing sites which then will through the results off and make then totally useless.

Rank Checker

• Generally: This is a excellent rank checking tool.
• Strengths: Quickly and very accurately gives me my ranking data, plugs into my browser and allows me to save data and campaigns.
• Weaknesses: This is a hard one, the tool is really excellent, but I do find that there are some discrepancies with the actual position of my site in the SERP's and what shows in the tool. Although I don't think that it's the tool's fault this most likely has to do with the data centers where the results are pulled from.

SEO For Firefox

• Generally: Great tool to quickly see data about your competitors in the search results
• Strengths: Allows me to quickly get the goods about competitors in SERP's and it plugs right into my browser so I can see the results on the actual Google results page.
• Weaknesses: Excessive use can get your IP banned from Google for a time period. And there is no way to stop it once you've loaded a page, you have to refresh the page with the tool disabled.

Overall I think your tools are quite superior to many of those out there but I'd like to see a tool that incorporates the SEO Spy Glass data with the Website Auditor and displays the data like the Top 10 Spy report in SEO Studio.

thanks a lot for your input! We'll see what we can do about the reports but generally, I would argue the necessity of an incorporated report, because SEO SpyGlass is dealing with off-page optimization, and WebSite Auditor with on-page, which are quite different notions, and we weren't in fact going to mix them up...

We have come to rely heavily on FireFox's SEO toolbar but just downloaded the link assistant. Hopefully this will give us new insight into our SEO strategy.

I also downloaded SEO toolbar i am sure this will help me, i also use off and on page techniques

SEOQuake, Moz Toolbar, OSE, Majestic SEO and Linkscape are among my top faves
