SEO spyglass could not find any links for the site you specified.

This is the error message i am getting on the demo version of the software.

No matter what site I enter I get the same message http://www.ebay.com apparently has no backlinks :-D

I am entering the url as above, and yahoo is selected, so why am I getting this error?

I am considering buying the enterprise version as I am currently using web CEO and it is a PITA really, and even though I have used it for years, I don't think it is worth the money any longer, seeing as I only use it really for creating reports for clients.

can any one point me in the right direction of what I might be doing wrong here? Thanks

Update:

I just selected MSn, and it gave me 10 results. is this a restriction of the trial version or something? As I know ebay has more than 10 back links LOL

So it would be safe to say then that this isan operating problem rather than a problem local to my machine?

Hi,

My SEO SpyGlasss Version 3.2.6 stopped working about three days ago (5/7/2008) during version 3.2.5 and has not worked since when checking Yahoo back links. It sometime returns 1 or 2 backlinks if I select MSN, but mostly says no backlinks found on MSN also.

Tried www.ebay.com and other sites that have backlinks and get no results.

Windows XP

Sounds like others are having the same issue

Thanks

it sounds like the software has been blocked by the search engines then. same thing happened to web position gold many years ago.
