I began a report this morning, and just returned to the computer, where it's hung on the last result which happens frequently.

Unlike usual however, hitting "Stop" seems to do nothing, whereas last month (before todays 3 September updates were installed) I could immediately go ahead to "finish" and get my report anyway.

Have I lost the days report completely?

I own SEO Spyglass Enetrprise edition, and have paid for the Enterprise version of Website Auditor too. How can you just blow us off like this? Surprising and disappointing, after sticking with you guys for so long

Own the Enterprise version as well and the new update 3.5.2 seems to go on forever on Leopard. I have been running one research project on my laptop now and it has been over 23 hours even after hitting the stop button after hanging on the last 2 backlinks where it hung trying to determine the anchor text. (analyzed 2480 out of 2482 backlinks before hanging).

Yesterday we tried to run a single report on one domain, and it took 5 1/2 hours after finding the initial 938 backlinks.

When it was almost complete, it then stalled on number 937 for over an hour before we gave up.

We then hit the "stop" button, and instead of showing the 937like it USED TO DO FINE, it just sat there, with the entire job lost.

We can't even count on running just one good report each day anymore - really a shame, guys.

Ran a report again overnite this time on my tower instead of my laptop, and once again it stalled on the last 2 backlinks (different ones than the last time I tried to run it) with the problem once again being "Determining anchor text and URL" in the status line. (2443 out of 2445 backlinks analyzed)

Software running on Leopard 8-core 16gigs Ram and 10 TB of storage on an OC3 connection

Report still running after 24 hours......

This time will not try to kill the remaining backlinks nor hit stop....will just let it run for the next 72 hours....or until you have a fix for this software....am very disappointed in your lack of customer support :shock:

Thousands of apologies for the problem you've all experienced.

We looked at the issue and our developing team was working hard to fix the bug. Again, we are sorry you've all been dealing with this for quiet a while, but the problem was a tough nut to crack.

However, we are happy to announce that the newer versions of SEO SpyGlass, Rank Tracker and WebSite Auditor are coming out tonight, they are thoroughly tested and the problem you described won't persist.

Again, thank you all for contributing to improvement of our products, and sorry for the problem. We are waiting for your feedback on the new version.
