Hi There,

I've just purchased the Enterprise version of SEO PowerSuite to use with all our current projects to help speed up some of the tasks that we do when working on SEO for our websites along with clients.

I've just opened the WebSite Auditor software (v2.1.3) for the first time and typed in our domain name, filled out the information as it was required and hit go for it to start compiling a report.

It's been popping up with Captcha forms now for around 10 minutes and I must have filled in atleast 120 before giving up. I've told it to skip all now so I assume the report will be missing some vital information.

Is there a way to get rid of the Captcha code entries? I'm not sure if I need to sign up for API access with the search engines in order to bypass this or just change a setting?

Any help would be great!

Also, are there any guides on recommended ways to use to SEO PowerSuite software and what order to use the tools in / configuring them for the best possible outcome?

Kind Regards
Lewis

To help reduce the amount of captchas use proxys or human emulation. These are both set up in the preferences.

It helps to gather the data in multiple passes rather that all at once, just gathering some of the data each time.

If you still keep getting a lot of captchas leave is a little while and try again.

When you start a new project, it's better just to build up your site tree. Open WSA, click 'New', mark the 'Enable expert options' checkbox and uncheck all ranking factors to update. Push the 'Skip all' button when asked to enter a captcha (you'll update everything later).

It would be best to start with 'SEO in Practice':
http://www.seoinpractice.com/step-by-st ... guide.html

The e-guide will give you a good understanding of the logic behind the tools and will help you organize your workflow.

Also there's a help manual for each of the tools (you can access it via 'Help -> Online Help'). You'll find many more useful tips in our newsletters as well as on our site.
