So I have this problem: every time I run SSG I have to edit the Workspace to put off some of your criteria. I do not need to see those(on large numbers I think it`s blocking the SSG), I have my own things that I follow/analyze.

Can you let me make my workspace as default so I wont have to edit that workspace each time I analyze some back links?

I want an option to make default my own workspace.

Sure.

First, you need to create your own customized workspace. That can be done via 'Preferences' -> 'Manage Worspaces' -> 'Add'. There you will see a window titled "Add workspace" with two lists of columns' titles: in the left list there are available but currently invisible columns, the right one contains columns that are already in the current workspace. You just need to double-click on the column's title that you need and move it from one list into the other. Thus you will add all the columns that you need.

After you create a customized workspace, you will need to set it as a default one for each of your projects. To do that, please click on a drop-down menu in the right upper corner of the 'Search Engines Data' tab.

That's basically it.

I need same workspaces for different projects.

All I can do is to copy paste workspaces from one project to another. But I wanted those by default.

Sorry but I'm afraid that's impossible.

As you've probably noticed, there are 2 kinds of settings in our tools: project preferences and global preferences. Project preferences influence the current project only while global ones are set up for all new projects. Since workspaces are listed under project preferences, they need to be adjusted for each of your new projects.

The good thing is that you can easily copy/paste workspaces between different projects. Here is how to do it:

1. Open the 'Manage Workspaces' menu in 'Preferences -> Manage Workspaces'
2. Select the workspace you want to export and click 'Copy' on the toolbar above
3. Open a project to which you want to import the workspace and click 'Preferences -> Manage Workspaces -> Paste'.

That's the only solution at the moment.
