When doing link verification, some remote site owners use a forward slash, and some don't:

http://www.mysite.com
http://www.mysite.com/

Is there a way to allow both of the above to pass validation?

I don't want to approach site owners to just add a forward slash if not absolutely necessary cuz it could seem like nit-picking (from their point of view)
