I like what I see in Link Assistant so far. If this is not possible yet, please consider it as a requested feature: a good idea would be to have "reminders" for when to re-ask for a link request or when enough time has passed to remove an unreciprocated link. Not as easy to keep track when there are many link partners.

OK, this sounds reasonable... Not quite sure how you see it implemented though. Could you please share your vision on that?

For example, many sites require you to put their link on your site first before they consider an exchange with you. I don't mind doing this but at the same time I don't want to forget about it and leave an unreciprocated link.

For sites where I put their link in first and are awaiting their reply, I currently just create a custom Status "Temp link added" and I plan to check manually. But it'd be nice to have Link Assistant give an automatic reminder after say 5 days (or a time we set) to verify whether a partner(s) is reciprocating a link.

To implement it, it could be like a pop-up reminder like Outlook Calendar gives. When editing a certain status, currently you can only edit the status's name. Perhaps a "Reminder" option can also be added with the length of time we specify and comments that we specify.

Note, this "Reminder" option could be used for any status so we could set the "1st link request mail sent" to have a reminder set for 5 days and the comments "Re-send link request mail" for the following partners. For the "Temp link added" status (which is my own custom status), I could have a reminder set for 5 days and the comments "Verify backlink" for the following partners.

Alternatively, if you really want to be ambitous you could actually program Link Assistant to automatically verify the backlink after the set reminder period. You'd probably have to set up a special status for this though.
