Hey all... I find it incredibly frustrating when running spyglass and all it finds are slow proxies... is there a pay service or anything to get fast proxies I can import into the program to run the reports? Anyone know of such a service or where to find fast, LIVE, proxies?

Thanks,
Chris

Only dedicated proxies are very fast. They cost around USD10 per proxy IP. I can work with the harvested proxies of the LA tools.

After you harvested the proxies, sort after ping time in ms and delete every proxy address that takes longer than 1500 ms. That works very fine for me.

Thanks for the heads up Joulious... problem I have with the harvested one is lately they are not finding any good ones.. I find if you hit a good day you check 5,000 backlinks in no time.. on a bad time it can take hours...

I found this anonymous-proxies.net ... I am going to give them a shot... its 2.38 per proxy... less if you buy over 10... I think I will buy 10 and give it a whirl... for 23 bucks a month.. if they are fast and allow me to run lots of reports in a day.. its well worth the small price...

Would love to hear if anyone else knows of any other services they had a good experience with?

Joulious, I would recommend them...sometimes you have to refresh the proxies by doing a "check" on them... and sometimes it is best to use the single proxy and when running large reports it is best to use the rotating proxies (with the dedicated ones you purchase) but despite these minor flaws... I think it is well worth it....

I signed up for squiproxies and they are working fine. When analysing a big website with WSA for example, it can be useful to break down the job into batches of 300 links. This has to be done manually though..
