I've been working on my first full site with SEO PowerSuite. Using Auditor, I have tried to tweak this site against the competitors but am still sitting at just 40% Optimization. I have some KEI's as high as 66% as well.
How can I tell if I've gone to far and risk being "punished" by Google?

I had to make some "Big" changes to the website's look and feel to get to where it is now ( http://www.thetoyz.com ), specifically adding a lot of "Description Text" that took away from our nice, clean look :-(

It may be too early (only 2-3 weeks) but I've seen only a small increase in traffic since optimizing the pages.

Any ideas on where I can go to get an idea of how well I have optimized the pages or what I can do different or better?

I appreciate all the help :-)

Are you tracking the actual rankings in search engines? Did those increase? If you have done only onpage changes, they should start affecting your rankings in some 2-3 weeks exactly, but you need to know the dynamics. If the site goes up only after tweaking text that's a good sign. That means your niche is not stone-strong and a couple of good links will boost your rankings.

Yes, I am tracking keyword rankings. More than go up what I see is we are getting good rankings for other lesser-used keywords (which is good).

My major fear is that I have "over tweaked" some portions of the pages and will get hit for it. Also, I'm a bit afraid to do more in the areas that I need to (I already have a ton of keywords in the text - I would thing too much - but I should add more according thew web editor).

Because of this, I'm afraid to do more...

Odd question but how are you getting your % of keywords or is that a report within WD.

Am still working on RT right now but soon going to WD to start working on more things.

Thanks

C
