OK - I am having this frustrating problem whereby I am setting up campaigns for the same site using different methods in one project workspace...

Let's just say it's impractical to deal with multiple LA project files when I'm doing this en mass for so many different sites in a month.

Now I might search for prospects in diffrerent ways.
I might use:

Link-Assistant Searches
Twitter Exports
Directory Gathering
Competitor Backlinks
TLD, GEOLocation & Industry Specific Targets

Now I categorise these either in the 'Notes' or 'Category' fields (tags don't import well from CSV - it always crashes!)

The issue I am having is that I cannot assign a different target email template to the required rows.

If you could add a feature that operated in much the same way as the 'status'field this would be perfect!

To Break it down:

I want to be able to write a few template emails, assign them each to specific rows accordingly, with the ability to send all in one pipeline. Does this make sense?

I'm really missing this feature - it's preventing me from being able to pin point my targets to increase conversions.

At present conversion rate lies between 3 and 12%

With this feature I'd be able to pull in 20-30% minimum.
I can't use the same email for absolutely everyone in the project - it bares no relevance to them.

Could this feasibly be done? Can you see the advantages of this?

Hope to hear from you guys soon

Regards

Red

splitting big projects files down into seperate files is just not efficient enough nor practical for me admin-wise.

To illustrate this further - imagine that my project targets:

    University professors
    Journalists
    Bloggers
    Business sites
    Social Scenes

Ok, I'm not going to send my banner advertisement request to a jounalist.

I want these to go to the bloggers.

I don't want my link exchange request to go to a university professor.

I would like to be able to target my outreach significantly better than the restrictions in place right now.

When dealing with many websites in many niches, each with USP's specific to different prospect targets - it's difficult to generate the desired degree of interest to maximise email campaigns using only one generic template.

The generic 'assign template and send to all' approach imposes restriction and impedes my performance.

Splitting projects into niches or targets is impractical.

There is no simple way of tracking the admin, outreach and work involved for a specific website campaign.

I absolutely love Link-Assistant and use it daily and I am very enthusiastic and impressed about how well you guys develop the software and are keen to listen and support customers with amazing updates and live plans.

I feel that this "Highlight (Shift-Select) & Assign template to" function could also generate more and more sales of your product if promoted well!

This feature request would be extremely beneficial to the agency marketing world.

Thanks a lot for the idea, added this to our to-do list; will pass on to the analytics.
