I am having problems with email deliverability when I send using Link Assistant. I took a look at the header and I noticed it includes references to Link Assistant, which would obviously be a red flag:

X-Mailer: LinkAssistant (http://www.link-assistant.com)

Is there any way to remove this from the email header information?

I'd like the header information to ideally be the same as though I sent it from my Microsoft Outlook.

hey, I don't mean to be impatient here, but I spent a solid 15-20 hours putting together a very targeted and quality link campaign using Link Assistant, going through all of my imported link partners and organizing them into proper categories, putting proper titles, finding their proper email contacts etc. Out of all of that work once I sent the email to 126 targeted emails I got 3 replies. One asking a question about my site, one politely explaining why he doesn't do link exchanges and the other asking me to change my link to him and when he has time he will add mine.

I was obviously disappointed by the fruits of my labor, so I exported my links to my main method of emailing link exchange requests and it resulted in me getting over 80 responses, and to date over 40 confirmed link exchanges. I decided to send an email to my Gmail account from Link Assistant, and sure enough that email went straight to spam. I assume this is what happened with the vast majority of emails I sent out, due to the response rate.

So I expect a little bit of help here or at least some advice to point me in the right direction on how to increase email deliverability when emailing directly from Link Assistant.

Thank you.

Thanks - sorry for the delay. In fact the moment you've submitted the request we checked it and are now working on the header deletion. So one of the nearest releases will contain the fix, thanks a lot for your input.

Okay, anything else you can do to increase email deliverability would be appreciated as well.

After playing with this program a long time and consistantly having emails go straight to spam, I have finally realized the only way to get them delivered is to setup a gmail account and use the POP3 settings.

However the problem with this is you can only send 150 a day, I would like to be able to send a lot.

Feature Request:

Be able to send from multiple email address for one campaign. You add multiple different emails and then from there it rotates between the different possible email accounts. If I can set up 10-20 gmail accounts and load them into LA emailer, I've got emails going direct to inbox and I'm sending 1500-2000 link exchanges per day.

Please add this feature.

10 days later and not even a reply. What's going on here?

We are not going to add such a feature right now. This would basically make LinkAssistant a spam tool and we wouldn't really want that. The goal of this software was to help webmasters manage their sites, not help send tens of thousands of e-mails...

Lol fair enough, wouldn't want you to fall of your horse.

How about addressing the issue that all emails go directly to spam unless setup using gmail's pop3 settings rather than shaking your finger at me.

Well, if you mean the X-Mailer tag you referred to in the original post - we have removed that one completely. If there are any other things we could improve please let us know we'd be willing to know.
