In the meantime I have collected tons of url`s and several huge projects. Some of them have 70k+ entries, and should become even bigger. In the near past it happened several times that LA could not open these big projects at all, and reported them as broken. Even Windows could no more handle or copy them.
1. How can I treat my projects a best way, to avoid them to get corrupted?
2. how many entries would you suggest to be used at its max?
Could you please expand on the nature of these URLs? Are they existing links to some sites or may be link resources for prospective use? It would be easier to answer your question if we knew a little more about your workflow.
These big project are meant as a collection for later use. I also imported all different existing projects in the 2 big ones, and exeeded in searching for further partners. Since the two big projects were totally demaged, I had no problem, to reproduce them. My published directories are different ones, and I also uploaded the project LA files to webspace for security reasons.
Since you did not find an answer for this issue, how to prevent projects in the future to get demaged, like things to avoid strictly etc., may I discuss some further Questions about some important questions I have about LA and SEO in gerneral?
I usually run 24,000 urls in the project and it slugs. (I ended up splitting my 100,0000 out reach into bitesize chunks)
Link Assistant recommended that 8,000 was a good limit before files became habitually corrupted. I have been getting away with it at 24,000 each time so far.
