After 2.18 hour, estimated time is 5.37 hour to go.

After 2.45 hour, estimated time is 5.52 hour to go.

Best estimated time keep increase.

Saw this forum admin post and reply, basically they going to reply as my internet connection is slow or hardware issue ....

No worry, i enclose some photo that show, this script is slowing down by it self, from the pic u can tell ping (ping google.com) latency is very low and less then 0.01% connection speed use ...

Last check before post, time spend 3.02 hour, estimated time to finish 6.15 hour.

personal estimation should be complete in 10 hour or hang halfway, will update when it complete ....

PS: every screen shot with atleast one fail update notice there.

Same here.

Have your analysis of 10.000+ backlinks ever finished after Yahoo shutdown and new updates including SpyGlass-link-database?

Mine analysis have never finished yet.

It froze at random points... I've let it work all over the Saturday and Sunday and on Monday I've realized it stuck at 92 % - my maximum.

I'm having issues too with 32 gig's of ram. Prior to the 4.8.1 upgrade I was processing 1500 links at a time. Now I can barely do 500. Nothing has changed other than the upgrade. After shelling out a lot of money for the enterprise powersuite I want to love this tool. With responses like this, from customer service, it's making it more difficult.

Per customer service,

In fact, we have tested the latest version of our software and it's working perfectly fine.

Most likely the error was caused by the fact that you tried to update ranking factors for a very lengthy list of backlinks.

Besides, you have experienced this issue because you had many other project open in SEO SpyGlass when trying to update this one. Please try saving and closing all other projects, restarting the software and then opening just this one project.

It would also be a great idea to update backlink ranking factors in batches: please split the list of your backlinks into smaller groups and check them in portions (100-200 links at a time).

The fact is that at the moment none of SEO PowerSuite tools can consume more than 700 MB of a computer's memory (this is a Java-related limitation). But our developers are working on our software improvements and are testing alternative platforms to migrate the software to which would allow handling more resource-consuming tasks.

Theirs a contradiction to their comments. If it's only consuming 700 MB of my computers memory than that leaves over 30 gigs of memory for the other programs I'm working on. Apparently, I need a dedicated computer and staff member (to baby sit the smaller groups) to handle this all consuming power hog.

this is what i receive from support :

Checking smaller batches of backlinks isn't solution of this pain-in-the-ass problem is it?

Perhaps it's time for other architecture of core - looks like Java-sh1t can't handle it.

I'm now down to only being able to process 150 links at a time. I have a project with over 15,000 backlinks. I don't have time to sit and process 150 at a time.
