It looks like you have been temporarily blocked by the search engine
for excessive querying. In fact this is a very common issue and any
SEO software would get you temporarily blocked eventually. Search
engines consider excessive querying from one IP address suspicious and
block it from searching. The block lasts up to two hours and is in no
way harmful for you, your website or your business.

You can read more about the nature of that in our knowledgebase
article on SEO SpyGlass:

http://www.link-assistant.com/support/i ... y-requests

Unlike other software providers, we are securing ways to avoid
temporary blocks:

- human emulation
- user agents
- proxy rotation

Using human emulation alone would in most cases be enough to stay
block-free and search without limits. As an immediate solution
(without waiting for an hour or so we recommend using a proxy server
or the proxy rotation feature.

Please go to Preferences/Search safety settings and enable human
emulation.

Well I use this tool only once a day. At this moment I have only 4 projects running, and I get banned.

All those setup suggestions made by you are already active. And still I get banned.

It happened only today, since now was all perfect.

What next?

I have the same issue... checking rankings for Danish results. Up until yesterday I've never had any problems... something must be going on. Aren't there any other users that have the same problem?

I also have the same problem. It says I'm banned by Google but I'm not. In fact if I run the check immediately after on the results that failed then they now succeed! So I am NOT banned by Google, just Ranktracker says that I am....

I am having the same problem. I posted about it on another post. I wondered why it took many hours. I let it go overnight and in the morning it was finally done. I am now investigating and see that it pauses for 15 minutes on google. 15 minutes X many, many keywords = many many hours

I'm having the same problem. In fact I went down to Panera to get a different IP address and after about 15 keyword inquires am getting the dreaded red "banned by google". I've used Rank Tracker for over a year now and haven't had this problem before.

I am having the exact same problem. I am running only once a day, and it's always failing. It's getting really annoying.

Another "me too" I'm afraid.

I *just* purchased the suite this morning (I'm brand new here also) and was doing some testing/tweaking of the reports so that I can publish to my clients.

But Google seems unhappy - both .com and .co.uk for my local search.

6 keywords also took 1 hour 11 mins to complete, so lots of delays and human emulation in there I think (certainly enabled in my preferences)

Checked with other auto search tools like Market Samurai and no problems.

Something's up...

Gordon
