Hi,

Is there a way to have LA use absolute url's rather then referencing my complete domain name?

In other words, I would like my LA generated page links to using root / rather then http://www.my_domain.com/ to link to each other.

Thanks.

S-

Can someone please help we with this. Again, LA is creating full url's (www.my-domain.com/link/). Is there a way for LA to generate urls which are relative ie: starts with "/"?

I hope somone has a solution.

Hello,

I'm also having problems with the absolute URLs that LinkAssisstant uses. In my case, I use a development site on a local server with a different URL from the one the live site has.

For example: mysite.localserver.com (Development) vs. www.mysite.com (Live)

I need to upload the link directory into the dev site and be able to navigate through the different categories. I cannot do this now because all the navigation links point to the live site which does not have the pages.

If I could generate the directory with relative URLs, I would not have this problem. Any ideas?

as replied in your ticket (but other users might find this useful), you need to replace all the instances of

Code:
<[ECHO text="templateData.getPageFile(category)"/]>

in your directory template with

Code:
<[ECHO text="templateData.getPageFile(category, false)"/]>
